Unless you intend to light your all-American home with candles, and there are plenty of American-made options, you’ll need energy made in the U.S.A. to power your American-made lights and appliances. While America’s energy self-sufficiency rate has declined the last few decades, it still produces and consumes more energy than any other nation besides China. America is also one of the countries leading the shift to renewable energy sources. Back in 2014, a solar power system was installed in America every 2.5 minutes, and that pace hasn’t slowed thanks to a 60-percent drop in price for solar panels. The solar power industry employs nearly 260,000 Americans at more than 9,000 companies, with 360,000 American workers expected to be working in solar power by 2021. Solar power is booming in America because it saves Americans money. Actual savings, of course, depend on where you live, but are anywhere from $43,242 in Portland, Oreg., to $19,074 in Austin, Texas over a 20-year period. The average U.S. household can break even on their solar power system in just 7.5 years, but in many cities payback periods are four years or less. If you live in these 20 states it behooves you to install solar power, as it’s cheaper than grid energy already. Buying American-made solar panels is as easy as visiting here and picking out what you require. You can even deduct 30 percent of your solar installation costs from your federal taxes. You can find solar installers here. But if you live…
Fake News Media is “the enemy of the American People.” -President Donald Trump There is less than 21% approval rating for the American media. The reason is that people in this country understand that it is nothing more than fake and contrived news! Yet, they remain in the present, continuing to lie and to further their agenda by promulgating propaganda, as well as driving support for Donald Trump, as a leader of the opposition. The more the media attacks him, the more support that he garners. Those pulling the strings behind the corrupt politicians knew that Hillary Clinton never had the support of the American people anymore than John McCain had running against Barrack Hussein Obama. Sad to say, it took the American people 8 years to figure out that he did everything opposite of what he promised. It was an easy fix. Hillary, Like Barack, Does Not Have The Support/ Fake Followers. Exposing the Media. Fake News now seems to apply to those who are for the Law and the United States Constitution while they expose corruption wherever it may be, even when it hits their favorite politicians. The enemies of America are thankful for people that remain ignorant of their enumerated laws (Hosea 4:6). So far, the majority of the American people have been very accommodating. “How fortunate for governments that people never think.” –Adolph Hitler I reported earlier this year, 70 years of CIA propaganda and corruption, and how disinformation is exactly what they have been spewing…
Over the past 3 decades, researchers have made phenomenal gains in the fight against HIV. The deadly virus attacks the T-lymphocyte cell, specifically CD4, then causes the immune fighting cell to churn out more HIV virus’. CD4 T cells send signals to the body’s immune system when something foreign is in its path, recruiting more immune cells to the scene. When HIV has used the CD4 T lymphocyte cell to replicate itself, the latter dies. As CD4 cells drop, so do immune defenses. HIV could lead to AIDS, Acquired ImmunoDeficiency Syndrome, giving rise to infections that healthy immune systems could normally withstand, but an immuno-compromised patient could not. Anti-HIV drugs have targeted how the virus attacks the T-cells, and specifically how its DNA enters the T cells to cause its parasitic replication; however, millions of HIV individuals have yet to be “cured”, even if their viral load remains low or undetectable. Many cases have been reported of an individual with undetectable HIV coming OUT of remission, with reactivation of the virus. If T-lymphocytes have short life spans, how does HIV persist? The assumption exists that HIV hides out in a reservoir. But where? Researchers from the University of North Carolina discovered that the HIV virus can live in macrophages. Macrophages are derived from monocytes, a type of white blood cell that finds, engulfs, and destroys pathogens as well as debris and dead cells in the body. I picture them to be Pac-Men that can gobble up unwanted microscopic particles, including…
April 20 is the pot smokers’ holiday. It’s been one of my favorite holidays for quite some time, but this year I fear for those in states where marijuana is “legal,” either medically or recreationally. Despite weed being legal in the District of Columbia, seven people have been arrested outside the nation’s capitol buildings for possession or possession with intent to distribute. They will, of course, be charged under federal law, since marijuana remains a Schedule I drug, along with heroin and Ecstasy, because, well, no reason except a scary, uninformed propaganda campaign. The people arrested were passing out joints to Congressional staff and had 1,227 of them on hand for good reason. H.R. 1227, the bill that prohibits the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) from using funds to interfere with state marijuana laws, expires in just under a week, on April 28, and is unlikely to pass as part of the government funding bill. This is why I’m so scared for my friends back in Montana, Colorado, Washington, California and over half of the rest of the nation’s states where weed is legal either medically or recreationally. I lived through countless DEA raids in the state of Montana and read about more in other states. Last year I saw cancer patients lose access to the medicine that made their pain tolerable and allowed them to keep food down. I was one of the patients that lost access. I’ve seen parents use CBD oil to help manage their children’s epilepsy. We’ve…
Republicans are again trying to repeal and replace Obamacare, but what they’re really doing is attempting to alter the Affordable Care Act just enough so they hold onto their jobs and fulfill a promise made by Donald Trump to repeal and replace Obamacare “one Day 1.” We are nearing Day 100, and the House Republicans can’t even agree amongst themselves let alone get enough votes in the Senate to pass their American Health Care Act. The best thing that could have happened for Republicans with regard to the Affordable Care Act would have been to accomplish the goal announced by House Majority Leader Mitch McConnell just after Barack Obama was elected president. "The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president,” he said. They failed, and so will their attempt to repeal and replace Obamacare. The problem for Republicans, and specifically Southern Republicans, is that Obamacare is working for some and would work for most of their constituents. In fact, the South had the highest rate of uninsured people in 2012 at 18.6 percent. And it’s not all Hispanics. Over 68 million of them are white. Southerners are also the least healthy of all Americans, with 20 percent reporting fair or poor health in 2014. Southerners are also the most impoverished Americans, with 17 percent of Southerners living below the poverty level in 2014. The South also has the highest rates for diabetes, obesity and infant mortality in the nation. The…
When Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia died suddenly on Feb. 13, 2016, it sparked a standoff between Democrats and Republicans that rivaled that of the OK Corral. Senate Republicans refused to confirm a replacement on the grounds that President Barack Obama was a lame duck president and that the new president should choose a successor. Obama famously responded by saying, “Presidents do not stop working in the final year of their term; neither should a senator,” and nominated Merrick Garland a month after Scalia passed. Garland is a moderate by general consensus, but it wasn’t enough to convince Republicans to make the judiciary work on behalf of Americans. You can find how an empty seat has affected cases since by following this link. Basically, there were two ties that adversely affected working immigrants and unions. Here we are over a year later with the Republicans getting exactly what they wanted: Neil Gorsuch, a consensus conservative judge, breaking the tie on a church-state case. The separation of church and state is long-standing, federal law. Tax dollars are not spent in support of religions, but the federal government won’t stop you from raising money as a church – going as far as to make churches exempt from paying income taxes. A church can even donate money to super PACs that aren’t supporting a specific candidate, but no one is really enforcing this, with the chairwoman of the Federal Election Commission calling their organization “more than dysfunctional” and saying the likelihood that the…
Alex Jones says a lot of controversial things. Some people call him a fringe lunatic. Some people call him a prophetic patriot. When I see him plastered all over the internet I am not surprised because, well, he says a lot of controversial things. He is currently receiving wall-to-wall internet coverage about his brand new controversial topic. I am skeptical. I mean, will it be as controversial as Jones claiming the Sandy Hook Massacre is fake? (It’s not). How about as controversial as his claim that the Orlando Nightclub shooting was a false flag attack? (It isn’t). I don’t know, but I hope it’s as controversial as Jones’s claim that Hillary Clinton operated a pedophile ring out of a Pizzeria in a conspiracy so dumb I won’t even bother linking! (Jones apologized and recanted). No, my friend. It will be far more controversial than all of those combined. And I know this because it’s all over the media. With media coverage this broad, Mr. Jones must have some huge controversial issue brewing! So what is it? Why is the media all up in Alex Jones’s grill? Because Alex Jones is in a custody battle. With his ex wife. Wait. What? But I don’t give a rat’s ass about his custody battle! I thought this was going to be legit! I know! What am I supposed to do? I work at GCN. Alex Jones is on our network. I don’t want to write about Alex Jones’s custody battle because his custody…
The smartest business analysts in the world don’t seem to know what Dish Network’s CEO Charlie Ergen is up to after spending $6.2 billion in the recent airwave spectrum auction. That put Dish on the same playing field as Verizon and T-Mobile when it comes to ownership of the airwaves. All of it’s unused, however, and Dish has never presented a plan of how it intends to use its spectrum, whether that’s streaming Dish Anywhere to its customers’ devices or building a wireless network of its own for Sling TV users, which is helping Dish add subscribers but is lowering revenues. Analysts say Dish Network’s action in the auction makes it less likely that Verizon Wireless would merge with Dish, like AT&T did with DirecTV. But I refuse to believe Verizon isn’t interested in Dish’s spectrum. Verizon reportedly needs more urban capacity (and I can attest to this personally), which requires the very spectrum Dish owns. If that doesn’t scream value on Dish Network’s behalf, I don’t know what does. But Dish stock has plummeted since the spectrum auction purchase was announced, dropping over six percent in two days. It’s stock price is lower than it has been since the start of 2017. That drop could continue until companies can start communicating again at the beginning of May, which was done to avoid collusion during the auction. That’s when I see the fireworks happening. Ergen will sell all the spectrum Verizon doesn’t need at a huge markup thanks to Ergen’s…
Ye that put far away the evil day, and cause the seat of violence to come near; -Amos 6:3 It has been said that he who brings the light must endure the flame. How true that is in the Christ (John 14:6) that I follow (2 Timothy 3:12). One thing that I have come to understand as a preacher of God’s Word is that men are either going to hate their sin and repent, or they are going to hate me (Acts 20:21; 2 Corinthians 7:10). The Awful Price of Freedom and Redemption. Since the beginning days of ministry, I have found that the problem is not so much with those that are called the left (Lawless). It is more so with those who call themselves the right (Mark 8:15). They are often referred to as the silent majority (outside of the 78% of them that profess Christianity (1 John 2:4). Remember those who crucified Christ claimed to belong to God, as well (John 8:33)). When I first started in ministry, I wondered why people were attacking me for telling them what they claimed their values consisted. After all, I was not giving any one of my messages to bring about change to America’s values, but only to reinforce them. I became what Paul described as the enemy because I spoke the truth (Galatians 4:16) that exposes the lawlessness (1 John 3:12). I have had the media dog my trail since day one. State Run Media Exposed. Wikipedia founder has…
Donald Trump is in the battleground state of Wisconsin to sign an executive order that will reportedly make it harder for technology companies to hire cheaper, high-skilled workers from overseas and prioritize the hiring of American workers and strengthen rules to make sure government contracts are awarded to American contractors. Trump and White House officials have targeted the H-1B visa for high-skilled, foreign workers, which will even affect Trump himself. His own company takes advantage of the H-1B visa at his hotels, golf courses and vineyard. According to a CNN Money investigation conducted in July 2016, Trump utilized the visa to import 1,256 workers over 15 years. One of Trump’s campaign promises was to end the H-1B visa as a cheap labor program, but according to a study by Brookings Institute researchers, H-1B job vacancies are harder to fill and H-1B workers are paid more than non-H-1B workers, with wage growth much higher than the national average. Here are some answers to criticisms brought against the study and here’s a comparable study that comes to the same conclusion. According to WorkPermit.com, the U.S. H-1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows American companies to employ graduate level workers in specialty occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise in specialized fields such as in IT, finance, accounting, architecture, engineering, mathematics, science, medicine, etc. Any professional level job that usually requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher can come under the H-1B visa for specialty occupations, but if a foreign worker does not…
