Teacher Yells At Student: Criminal Offense to Criticize Obama

Disturbing trend of Obama cult of personality in school system continues.

An audio recording of an exchange between a teacher and a student at North Rowan High School in North Carolina serves as a reminder that the school system is becoming a training ground for teaching kids to be subservient to the state while indoctrinating them into thinking that the First Amendment doesn’t exist.

The clip features a conversation in which teacher Tanya Dixon-Neely tells students that it is a criminal offense to criticize Barack Obama and that they could be “arrested” for doing so.

The discussion centers around a story about Mitt Romney bullying a kid five decades ago. A student responds by pointing out that Obama admits in his own book, Dreams from My Father, that he also bullied a girl when he was in school, and that both Obama and Romney are “just men.”

Dixon-Neely then begins yelling about how “disrespecting the President” is an arrestable offense.

“Let me tell you something, you will not disrespect the president of the United States in this classroom,” she says, adding, “Do you realize that people were arrested for saying things bad about Bush? Do you realize you are not supposed to slander the president?”

The student correctly dispels Dixon-Neely’s nonsense by pointing out that the First Amendment permits the most vigorous criticism of the President.

“You would have to say some pretty f’d up crap about him to be arrested,” says the student. “They cannot take away your right to have your opinion … They can’t take that away unless you threaten the president.”

When the student refuses to be intimidated into agreeing with the teacher, Dixon-Neely states, “OK, do I have to get my cane?”

“As a social studies teacher, I cannot allow you to slander any President,” she adds.

According to Breitbart News, “The student had asked his friend to record the discussion to “prove to his parents what he has been trying to tell them for some time. The teacher in this video has a long history of pushing a liberal agenda, by shouting down students. She is very intolerant of other points of view that she does not share. The atmosphere at this school is not very conducive to opposing views.”

The school reacted to the controversy by claiming it represented “a learning experience,” and failed to indicate whether it would take any action against Dixon-Neely for her blatantly misleading and downright dangerous teaching.

As we have previously documented, there are numerous examples where children are being made to chant songs worshipping Obama in schools, perform military-style parades in his honor, or watch propaganda videos about celebrities affirming their allegiance to him.

In September 2009, the White House announced it would stream an Obama speech directly into government schools. The speech was accompanied by lesson plans issued by the Department of Education which instructed teachers to ask children “Why is it important that we listen to the President and other elected officials.”

This was merely a continuation of the cult of personality that has been built up around Obama with the aid of the education system.

This creepy cult-like video showing celebrities pledging their “service” to the Obama government’s global warming agenda was shown in Utah schools.

This now infamous “Obama Youth” video shows students at a middle school in Missouri performing a military style drill while chanting slogans about Obama’s policies.

Children at Sand Hill Elementary School in Asheville, NC recite Obama campaign slogans.

A creepy video of young children in Illinois singing a Maoist-style homage to Obama’s government, chanting “Yes We Can.” A shockingly accurate comparison with the Hitler Youth is made at the end of the clip.

Teenagers in Toronto Canada perform a song for Obama in school.

Shocking video of a teacher forcing children to worship Obama. The kids look largely disinterested.

Black children mindlessly chant for Obama on a school bus.

Ron Paul Storms To Victory In Minnesota Delegate Race

Supporters take full control of GOP in North Star State.

Presidential candidate Ron Paul swept the board at the Minnesota State convention this past weekend, winning 12 of the 13 delegates to the Republican National Convention and effectively taking complete control of the party in the state.

Congressman Paul would have won all of the open delegate slots, for the fact that the 13th went to former presidential candidate and U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, only after a Paul supporter withdrew his name from the ballot.

Earlier in the year, a well organized cadre of Paul supporters won 20 of 24 delegates at district conventions, meaning that in total the Paul campaign has secured 32 of the state’s 40 national delegates.

The achievement once again affirms Paul’s delegate-attainment strategy, and substantially increases the prospect for the Congressman to be able to greatly influence the party platform at the National Convention in Tampa this August.

In addition to the delegate victory for Paul, Minnesota state Rep. Kurt Bills (R), an ardent Paul supporter, soundly defeated the establishment Republican candidate in the race for the Senate.

“This is one of the greatest states that I have witnessed, where I have seen the transition, where the enthusiasm’s there,” Paul said during his speech at the Saturday convention.

The Paul campaign also scored victories in several other states over the weekend. Paul picked up eight voting slots plus one non-voting delegate and 11 alternates in Mitt Romney’s home state of Michigan.

“The rules were rigged against us in Michigan,” Ron Paul campaign spokesman Doug Wead wrote on his blog, “but still we won national delegates.”

Paul supporters also won 2 out of of 14 national delegates in Vermont, with two more considered potential allies, and they won 10 of 14 alternates in the state.

In Virginia district conventions, Paul supporters won 17 of 33 national delegates. The remainder of the state’s 49 delegates, including super delegates, are to be selected at the June 16th state convention.

“Victories in Minnesota and other states demonstrate that Ron Paul supporters possess the adaptability, organizational muscle, and unmatched enthusiasm required to continue winning delegates in upcoming contests,” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Manager John Tate.

“We’re also pleased to see Ron Paul supporters engaged in party-building to broaden the activist and voting base that will advance Republican majorities for many years to come,” added Mr. Tate.

“There is a revolution in ideas going on,” Paul himself told the audience during his speech, “and it isn’t a narrow revolution. It isn’t just a conservative group in the Republican Party. It’s much, much bigger than this. I am convinced that we have good support in the Republican Party for liberty ideas. But I am convinced … for every vote we get in the Republican primaries that there are at least two votes who are independent or even Democrats who will look at these serious principles of limited government, personal liberty, less war and doing something with the Federal Reserve system.”

Surprise! Obama Opposes European Austerity

May 21st, 2012

Steven Birn
Steven Birn Speaks

President Obama has urged Europe to back off of the austerity measures that are being implemented in countries that are about to go bankrupt.

Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Ireland are all on the brink of bankruptcy. Either they cut spending and raise taxes, get bailed out by the rest of Europe or they go bankrupt and perhaps take down the Euro. Most of these countries are taxed out, so raising taxes isn’t really an option. Cutting spending is. Not surprisingly Obama opposes any move away from a massive cradle to grave welfare state even if said welfare state brings a nation bankruptcy or threatens an entire currency.

Obama’s advice to the Europeans shows his complete lack of understanding about how economies work. He wants Europe to back off austerity, which of course means that the nations on the verge of bankruptcy will likely end up bankrupt or bailed out. At the same time he advocates the happy sounding idea of a “strong growth’ model. How does government create strong growth in the government? It cannot, at least in terms of actually creating the growth. Growth happens in the private sector. Government can create favorable conditions for growth by lowering taxes, cutting spending and backing off on regulations.

Obama isn’t interested in any of that though. He doesn’t want Europe to cut taxes or spending. All the talk of belt tightening from Obama is meaningless in light of his admonition that Europe stop austerity measures. The fact is Obama believes in a socialist top down economy. Government controls the economy from the top to the bottom in Obama’s world. That’s why he’s aligned himself with France’s new Socialist President. These people really believe that a socialist state will bring about prosperity, even to the point of ignoring the double digit unemployment that Europe’s most socialist countries enjoy.

Obama wants to follow Europe down the road to bankruptcy. In his three plus years in office, the Federal government has created $5 trillion in new debt. Any talk of cutting anything from the Federal budget is met with attack from the President. How much longer will it be before America turns into Greece? We surely won’t have Germany bailing us out. In fact, Germany may not bail out Greece this time around. But it begs the question why we would want this for ourselves?

One of the problems with the ‘too big to fail’ argument concerning bank and auto company bailouts is that people begin to apply it to government. Surely the Federal government is too big to fail and will be bailed out. The Federal government is big enough to fail and no one will bail us out. Greece’s economy isn’t anywhere near as big as our own. Yet it is about to fail and at some point it’s going to. Germany will have had enough and they’ll cut Greece and the other debtor nations in Europe free. Those nations have had their chance at bailouts, they’ve had their chance to get their fiscal house in order. So have we. We have a chance to cut spending significantly, we have a chance to get our debt under control. With Obama it won’t happen, with Romney it’s at best a 40 percent shot that it will happen.

Greece is a precursor to the problems we’re going to face down the road if we don’t get our Federal spending under control. Obama is quite clear about his position. He opposes European austerity, he believes in government control of the economy and has so much as stated this via is absurd “strong growth” position. We will not get spending under control under this President. We will not have a strong economy until we start cutting government spending and cut taxes. Obama’s mishandling of economic matters is bad enough here in the US. In Europe his position will likely lead to bankruptcy in Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Ireland. It could even lead to the collapse of the Euro. Do we want this disaster for ourselves?

Time to Call a Cease Fire in the Drug War

May 21st, 2012

Ethan Bearman
Smoke-Filled World

We are losing the war on drugs.

Our country has made zero progress since President Nixon coined the term “war on drugs” in 1971. Yet, somehow, we have spent more than $1 trillion total.

Pres. Obama’s administration has stopped using the term “war on drugs,” but, obviously, it is still going on. And, said war is still happily bleeding our federal budget.

Clearly, throwing money at the problem isn’t helping.

It is time to figure out how to effectively legalize, tax, and regulate some of the illicit drugs, namely marijuana, just like we do with alcohol and tobacco.

Almost without exception, the drugs that are illegal are unhealthy and highly addictive. So why would I advocate ending the war?

Look at the huge, international criminal cartels the so-called “war on drugs” has created. Tens of thousands of people each year are dying brutal, horrible, violent deaths just across the border in Mexico and down into Central and South America.

Just this week, 49 mutilated bodies were found by the side of a highway near Monterrey, Mexico. The killings are thought to be drug-related.

And, they aren’t just killing rival cartel members. Innocent people are getting caught in the crossfire.

Do you think that might contribute to a surge in illegal immigration? People crossing our borders, desperate to get away from the atrocities happening in their homeland?

Our government also sends Drug Enforcement Agency agents to fight these cartels in foreign countries. As you may recall, a drug cartel member killed one of our immigration and customs-enforcement agents in Mexico last year.

The New York Times has an exposé that uncovers the fact that we are sending DEA commandos into Honduras where they are engaging in firefights with smugglers. Let’s not lose more American lives while killing locals in foreign countries.

In California, drug and arms cartels are destroying huge sections of state and national forests to cultivate the marijuana crop domestically instead of smuggling it across border. Oh yes, and if you happen to be hiking and you stumble across one of the fields, you are likely to be shot and killed by an armed guard.

And it isn’t just foreign criminals.

The United States has the highest incarceration rate in the world. In 2009 alone, of the 1.6 million criminal arrests, around one-sixth was for drug violations. Half of those arrests were marijuana-related – a drug many argue is far less harmful than alcohol.

What about drug use-rates in the past 20 years? Has the war made a difference?

According to the National Institute of Drug Abuse, eighth-graders and high school sophomores and seniors in the United States are using as much marijuana today as in the early 1980s.

The National Criminal Justice Reference Service claims an estimated 12.8 million Americans, about six percent of the household population aged 12 and older, use illegal drugs on a current basis (within the past 30 days).

As the saying goes, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Why are we acting insane and expecting different results after spending over $1 trillion?

Didn’t we learn anything from prohibition? Why do we continue to make the same mistakes?

As with alcohol, legalizing some drugs is the only thing that makes sense. Let’s start with marijuana and study the consequences. Then, we can decide a rational course of action and take it from there.

Bradlee Dean: Homosexual Marriage? Canada’s Hateful Example

May 21st, 2012

Bradlee Dean
GCN Live.com

Bradlee Dean shares video YouTube dumped as ‘hate’.

Just this week I received a phone call on my radio program from a listener from Maine who said that homosexual marriage was defeated in his state in 2009. Then he said, “Here they come again.” I responded that he was not dealing with people who are ruled by law, and their objective is to overthrow law. I said, “Don’t you remember the ‘change’ that was promised by the first gay president, who is clearly not ruled by our Constitution? So what do you expect? Every state where the vote has gone to the people, homosexual marriage is voted down. Thirty-two states out of 50 have defined marriage as between a man and a woman. Now I hope you can understand why the radical homosexual community does not want the vote going to the people.”

In California, the Proposition 8 vote by the people protected marriage. Since that wasn’t the answer the homosexuals wanted, they usurped the voice of We the People and had a radical homosexual activist with a judge’s cloak, Vaughn Walker, to overthrow the voice of 7 million people in that state. He had no business in that position. He conveniently retired after his unlawful usurpation before being impeached by the people he defied. Now it is back in court, exactly where the radicals want it, so they can debate the pith and marrow out of common sense – that marriage is between one man and one woman, as God has defined.

Obama came out in support of same-sex marriage in hopes of promulgating his unlawful agenda in four swing states that are voting on the issue – Washington, Maine, Minnesota and Maryland.

But those working to preserve traditional marriage say the president’s words will backfire, as they always do. This is now a perfect opportunity for the American people to take their government back.

Joe Fuiten, pastor of the Cedar Park Church in Kirkland, Wash., said Obama’s support for gay marriage will not change deeply held beliefs. “He decided he had to do it to get his liberal base behind him again,” said Fuiten, “but it’s not going to play well in the country.”

Friends, people need to realize that homosexual marriage is not about homosexual marriage; it is about overturning law by a totalitarian government.

In fact, homosexual marriage is not even about marriage. In the video below, I go across the border into Canada where they’ve “framed mischief by a law” (Psalm 94:20) by legalizing an illegal act called homosexual marriage to show you what the objective truly is. For example, what does lowering the age of anal intercourse have to do with homosexual marriage? What does the family and homeschoolers have to do with homosexual marriage? How is it the state’s business to intrude on churches and force them to perform homosexual marriages?

The video below was shut down by YouTube within two hours of being uploaded and was flagged as “hate speech.” The video contains offensive facts about the hate that is promoted by the radical homosexual agenda in Canada toward the law that exposes them:
