When we look around today it’s hard not to ask ourselves are we are living in a free America as our framers envisioned.
We see big brother more involved in our lives than ever before. New mandates on environmental issues, Obama Care, proposed gun-control, a complicated tax code and the list goes on and on. If we were to breakdown the Bill of Rights, The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution we can clearly see that the blueprint laid down is not the blueprint being followed today. With all the propaganda being spewed by our elected officials and by the leftist media do we really remember what it means to be free?
Now many can say that by every definition of the word free, we are in essence just that. Of course I will have to agree up to a certain point but when the government says that more drones will be in our skies for our so called protection… Is this free? When a business person makes a decision because of their religious beliefs regarding certain cultural situations and are scorned by the ACLU, is this freedom? Is free speech even available today or is it selective when it fits an agenda for a certain group of people.
Let’s look at the pulpits in America’s churches today. Is a Pastor free to teach the Bible without it offending any person or group of people. Here’s my short answer… NO! As an ordained Pastor myself I’ve seen first hand where a watered down gospel is the norm to bring empowerment verses truth. We need to ask ourselves, which will we truly benefit from? I believe that the church is where the problem and solution lye for the overall improvement from the moral, economic and political decline we are facing today.
The good news is that we have not hit the abyss yet but were close. My solution is men today need to get their testacles out of their women’s purses as a starter. Men hold the key to solid homes and solid leadership for America. Now I’m not saying women cannot lead or should not lead. What I am saying is that when solid leadership is established in the home than solid families are created allowing all to lead, prosper and contribute to a thriving society.
I’ve said it once I will say it a thousand times. Bring God to the center core because he first brings freedom and when we grasp that than we can embrace the freedom that was and still needs to be the core of America.
