Before all my non-believer friends click to another article, stretch yourself and push through the whole article and you may find some insight as to the benefits of this principle.

Now of course by now you may be asking what Kingdom are you referring too? Is it President Obama’s Kingdom or the nut job President of Iran’s… neither! The Kingdom I’m referring too is the Kingdom of God! Now, your probably really confused so let me explain. When I talk about investing in the Kingdom of God, I’m talking about Investing in people and cultural situations that further the biblical foundations that truly were evident in the founding of our country. Yes, I know you may be shocked if you’re a liberal reading this that God was involved in the shaping of this country and is still very much involved in the success we can have as a nation and a people.
You see the principle of investing into the Kingdom is a decision one makes to place their money in the things that matter to God and that truly benefit mankind; such as sending a group to Haiti to build their country after the horrible earthquake or sending missionaries to Africa to build schools or churches. It also means feeding the hungry, clothing the poor and helping the addicted and afflicted right here at home in the good old USA.
I personally believe that when we make this principle an allocation in our portfolio than the returns although not realized here, are realized eternally. Some may think this is non-sense, but from personal experience I can tell you it’s very real.
Even a Hollywood Atheist can get satisfaction from this, and many do practice this principle but don’t realize it’s in essence a Kingdom Principle. The word of God shares with us many times the power and benefits of investing in Kingdom things, and I for one have no problem sharing my insight and experience’s I have had because of it.
Some say Steve your just one of those prosperity guys or one of those name it and claim it guys, and I say, “YES I AM!” and let’s throw in an enthusiastic “Hallelujah!” Money is a very important resource and most people’s perspective on money is well… FOOLISH! I believe that the Bible is the best resource we can have in terms of money, debt and investing. The real problem is many Pastor’s don’t want to touch the subject as if it were some taboo, and many so called Financial Experts shy away even though many of them absolutely believe in God and the power and heavenly returns of exercising this principle. If people would get the guts and say, hey, yes GOD is real and is part of the fabric of our culture and our country and not be apologetic then I believe we would see the end of the welfare state because the Church and it’s people would use their resources to do what we know were called to do anyways.
When we exercise these principles and invest in the Kingdom of God then God is moved by our obedience. The Bible is clear regardless if you believe it or not and it states that we are to “Seek the Kingdom of God first and then all would be given to us.” This is even a better promise we can hope for even better than “A piece of the rock.”
I know I’m going to upset some by my comments, but the last time I checked we live in America and we have something called the 1st Amendment! Again you either believe it or not, but if I were a betting man, I would rather place my money on the most read, most translated, most published and oldest book in the history of earth… THE BIBLE! With stock investments, the disclaimer states that past results are no guarantee of future performance, but with Kingdom Principles it is the past results that do guarantee our future performance.
