With people getting ready for the voting season which kicks off in less than 24 hours, there is much talk about who should become the GOP nominee. With numerous debates, millions of dollars spent, thousands of miles logged, and untold numbers of babies kissed for the cameras, you would think that the front runner would have been selected by now.
The reason there is no clear front runner is two-fold:
First, the establishment is trying to figure out which candidate the people would object to the least. Sad when the person we are choosing to lead our nation is the one we object to the least instead of the one we want the most. Obviously this camp of candidates would include Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, and Rick Perry. With Perry essentially all but finished, the media spin has been trying to make Romney and Gingrich palatable to the American voter.
Neither one is a conservative, neither one holds true to their positions regardless of the amount of acting behind their words to the contrary, and neither one is a selection which would lead America to a place she needs to go in order to serve her designed purpose.
Second, the people are at odds as to what that designed purpose is! The media has been amazed, confounded, and even alarmed at Ron Paul’s solid polling this election cycle. They try to down play Paul’s success as an accident, or worse yet they manipulate their reporting to portray a different angle in order to lay a false foundation for their perspectives. Such was the case as Rand Paul recent appeared on Meet the Press:
When people are at odds as to the designed purpose of this nation, the vote is easily manipulated. The fact is that most of the voting public doesn’t even realize what a nation is, which is a body of people who come together for the protection of all for the empowerment to pursue like-minded goals and objectives. Well here is a news flash; we don’t know what our like-minded goals and objectives are any more. The pundits, experts, and commentators want us to believe that the President is something he is not, the powers granted to him are just, and the purpose of our nation is to serve the governments agenda. Look no further than Carl Rove stating that selecting a President is the most important decision an American makes while on Fox news or Fmr. Ambassador John Bolton saying the primary duty of President is to be Commander-in-Chief of the military.
We hear these statements and just blindly follow this ignorant train of thought because we no longer realize what America is meant to be, what freedom and liberty look like when actually lived out, or what role the government is to play in the execution of American governance.
By not cultivating our culture of freedom and liberty we have been manipulated to believe a whole range of detrimental issues are actually to our benefit. Everything from the need for more government regulation even though that is where the greatest opportunity for corruption and tyranny stems from, to the latest treasonous act, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
The support of the NDAA, the Patriot Act, and a number of other similar acts of legislation has lead us to an unrecognizable nation if our forefathers were to visit us today. We have been convinced that life is more important than liberty, freedom, and privacy. We have been convinced that terrorism is a larger threat than tyranny. This belief in a lie has lead people to support candidates like Mitt Romney, Barack Obama, and Newt Gingrich. Cut from the same delusional cloth, these three promote the systematic destruction of America under the guise of Patriotism flanked by the illusion of security.
In reality, these three men are far more dangerous to this nation than any terrorist threat could ever be. The goal of a terrorist is to bring down America. Not through the killing of over 300 million people, but by creating terror in the minds of the people so they will in-turn, voluntarily destroy what America really is. America is NOT the land which it occupies; America is NOT even necessarily the lives of the people who live here, America IS those precious souls who want to live in a nation where freedom, liberty, privacy, equal opportunity, and free enterprise reign. When those things are lost, America dies even if the flag is still flying.
This is why Newt, who believes you can reclassify people as enemy combatants while leaving the definition of enemy combatant open to interpretation, is a much larger threat to America than the whole of Islamic terrorism. For if even one person remains in the free land, America is a live, but if 300 million people live in Newt’s land, America has died.
Don’t fall for the line that posse comitatus has been suspended before and the fact that it wasn’t even a foundational law (passed June 18, 1878) as justifiable excuses for supporting evil such as NDAA and the Patriot act. That just demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of history and an ignorance of the current position in which we find ourselves (further proof someone who supports such monstrosities should never hold office).
Not only would support of a candidate who is urging for the destruction of your freedom be a mistake on the face of it, but in Newts case he even admitted in one of the GOP debates that we will always be at risk regardless of the measures taken to prevent it. This leads to the conclusion that he is willing destroy your country for no good reason, or, and I hope I’m wrong, he holds some sort of crazy, evil, misguided view of how the nation, or world, should govern its citizens. Like a, I don’t know…third wave, sort of lunacy.
When going into the voting booth this year remember what the roles and priorities of the government should be as outlined in the Constitution and then vote for the candidate who most aligns with holding the government to those standards.
A candidate’s foreign policy, economic policy, social policy, and the like all fall in comparison to their desire to preserve the constitution and the protection of freedom. Lack of deficit does us no good if we don’t have privacy. Great relations with other nations are of no benefit if our government dismantles the very standards which defined America as the last stand for freedom on this Earth.
No, Newt, Obama, Romney are not true conservatives, or in Obama’s case a true progressive, and for all those Republicans and Democrats that hold Ronald Reagan in high regard, please know that he too would never vote for such disgraceful candidates:

Thank you for being one of a handful to write this great article. I completely agree with you on every point! I have made a copy of this article & plan on sharing it with has many as I possibly can. The people in America need to wake up & take action before it’s too late!!! Many of the politians today have nothing but the thought of their pockets in mind, & the scary thing is they don’t care about us at all, but Ron Paul truly does!
