He may fight it ‘til the bitter end, but GOP supporters cannot be this forgiving of Herman Cain.

Can they?
For the first time in the Republican Presidential Primary campaign, Gloria Cain, Herman’s wife, made her first television appearance on Greta Van Susteren’s On the Record on Fox News. Gloria would probably prefer different circumstances to make her debut, as she defended her husband amid his recent sexual harassment allegations.
Accusations of a sexual nature can be especially damning to a political career and, in Herman’s case, to a campaign. Earlier this year, Rep. Anthony Weiner of New York was drowned out of office by a sexual scandal involving Weiner sending sexually explicit photographs of himself to numerous women through Twitter and Email.
Thus far Herman’s case dramatically differs from Weiner’s, as Herman has yet to be proven guilty of the allegations and has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.
Despite his charm, appreciated bluntness, and conservative-adored ideas, Cain has shown consistent ineptness towards foreign policy issues. While it can be understandable for candidates to claim ignorance towards the nitty-gritty details of the vast world we live in, Cain has publicly fumbled numerous responses. To some, he can appear flustered and confused, but – more alarmingly – to others he can appear that he is simply making stuff up.
The most recent foreign policy blunder Cain made was regarding whether he agreed with President Obama’s handling of Libya.
It appears clear that Cain is caught discussing a topic that he has no knowledge on – even asking the interviewing editors what the President’s view on Libya is.
While the following video appeared to be a gotcha question by the liberal publication Think Progress, Cain gave his brief thoughts on Taiwan.
To clarify, Cain claimed that the U.S. already recognizes Taiwan’s democratically elected government, but the U.S. stopped recognizing Taiwan in 1979 and remains mum on Taiwan’s affiliation with China.
Many are familiar with Cain’s comments on Uzbekistan.
Last but not least, Cain was clearly unaware that China has developed nuclear weapons – not just “trying” to develop nuclear capabilities.
The final video was produced by the Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC. She gives her explanation why she believes the Cain campaign is a farce and is duping us all.
Whether uneducated or ill-informed on foreign policy, Cain’s slipups are raising red flags about his suitability for such an overwhelmingly important position such as President of the United States. And one has to wonder if Cain’s gaffes and recent allegations will cause the Cain campaign to raise its white flag.
