Donald Trump is hot under the collar again. On CNBC’s The Kudlow Report, Trump expressed dismay over the way Obama is dealing with China. “I think they don’t respect our leaders, I think they don’t respect the people that are negotiating against them,” he bemoaned. “You know, we have some of the greatest business minds in the world, if not the best. How are we using diplomats to make deals? Why are we using people that studied ‘how to be nice to people’ to make deals with China? These are just not our friends; they’re looking to destroy this country.”
Among Trump’s predictions and remedies:
• China is going to have its own airplane manufacturer which will put Boeing out of business
• Oil may go up to $120 a barrel
• America should tax China 25% on their manufactured goods
Not surprisingly, Trump hinted at a future Presidential bid.
“For the first time, I’m seriously thinking about doing it,” he told Larry Kudlow. “I will say this, we have a country that is not respected. If I did it, and if I win, we will be respected again and we’ll be growing again and there will be jobs for everybody, and there won’t be increased taxes, either. What will happen is China and others will be paying the tax.”
