MSNBC Analyst: Constitution Has “No Binding Power On Anything”

Now that Republicans have a majority in Congress, they are pretending to be constitutionalists. In order to demonstrate this, they will theatrically read aloud the Constitution from the floor of the House next week. “And then they will require that every new bill contain a statement by the lawmaker who wrote it citing the constitutional authority to enact the proposed legislation,” the Washington Post reports.

Establishment Republicans, of course, have the same amount of contempt for the Constitution as establishment Democrats. As dedicated worshippers of state power over the individual, Republicans and their ideological twins the Democrats hate the founding principles of this country.

“Conservatives regard civil liberties as coddling devices for criminals and terrorists. They see the First Amendment as a foolish protection for sedition,” writes Paul Craig Roberts. “The conservative assault on the US Constitution is deeply entrenched… Today’s conservatives are so poorly informed that they cannot understand that to lose the Constitution is to lose the country.”

While so-called conservatives pay lip-service to the Constitution, so-called progressives actively trash it and cosign the founding document to irrelevance, as the above video demonstrates.

In the video, a blogger and columnist for the CIA’s favorite newspaper, the Washington Post, says the Constitution has “no binding power on anything” and is confusing – for liberals and other advocates of state power over the individual – because it is over a hundred years old.

Nancy Pelosi and the formerly ruling Democrats also believe the Constitution is irrelevant. “Madam Speaker, where specifically does the Constitution grant Congress the authority to enact an individual health insurance mandate?” a reporter for CNN asked Speaker Pelosi as Democrats prepared to shove Obamacare down the throats of the American people. Pelosi responded: “Are you serious? Are you serious?”

In August, Illinois Democrat Phil Hare told his constituents that he does not give a whit about the Constitution. “I don’t worry about the Constitution on this to be honest,” Hare said in response to a question about the constitutionality of Obamacare.

Hare also demonstrated his contemptible ignorance by saying that the Constitution guarantees each of us “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” In fact, that line is in the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution.

“We’ve now arrived at the point where a sitting Congressman can openly state that he doesn’t care what the Constitution says, a sentiment obviously held by a majority of Members since Congress continues to putatively enact ‘laws’ in the utter absence of express constitutional text,” Paul Galvin wrote after Hare made his harebrained comments for the camera.

For the establishment political class, the Constitution is completely irrelevant. Consider the following video where Republican Frank LoBiondo cannot answer a simple question about the document he has sworn to uphold from enemies foreign and domestic:

Even the soon to be leader of the House, John Boehner, is largely clueless about the Constitution. In the following video, he mistakenly attributes a line from the Declaration of Independence to the Constitution:

Barry Obama did the same, but then he was reading from a teleprompter:

“Stop throwing the Constitution in my face,” his predecessor reportedly declared. “It’s just a goddamned piece of paper!”

Mr. Klein’s dismissive remark about the Constitution is shared by a large number of politicos and other worshippers of state power in the district of criminals. If the establishment political class is going to successfully strip us of our natural and god-given rights, they have to promulgate the idea that the Constitution is irrelevant and nothing more than a quaint piece of goddamn paper.

What Kind Of Mood Are The American People In As We Enter 2011?

The American Dream
December 31, 2010

reportthis.png

Around the end of the year a ton of polls and surveys get taken. Media organizations love to get a “snapshot” of how the American people are feeling as the new year begins. So what kind of mood are the American people in as we enter 2011? Well, if the polls are to be believed, they are less optimistic, they are a bit scared, they are very frustrated and they are becoming increasingly angry. A solid majority of Americans believe that the country is moving in the wrong direction and they desperately want someone to fix the economy. What Americans seem to want most of all are good jobs. At the end of the day, Americans want to be able to pay the mortgage and put food on the table. If they can’t do that, then what is going on with other “important issues” really isn’t going to seem very important to most of them.

So is it a good sign that for the week ending December 25th that claims for unemployment benefits fell below 400,000 for the first time in a very, very long time?

Well, it turns out that claims for unemployment benefits decline every year right around the holidays and they decline every time a major winter storm hits much of the country. Considering the fact that both of those things have happened recently means that we shouldn’t be celebrating too much yet. Let’s see what happens after the holidays and when the weather gets a bit better.

The truth is that the official unemployment rate has been hovering just under 10 percent for the entire year and people are getting really tired of searching day after day for good jobs that don’t seem to exist.

The following is a compilation of recent poll results that show just how frustrated and angry the American people are becoming as we enter 2011….

The American People Are Dissatisfied With The Economy

A recent Bloomberg National Poll found that two-thirds of Americans believe that the country is headed in the wrong direction. But most Americans felt we were going in the wrong direction under George W. Bush as well. The truth is that the American people are going to continue to be frustrated with the “direction of the country” until the economy starts to show some sustained improvement.

So are things going to get better soon?

Well, one thing is for certain. Americans are becoming less optimistic.

In a recent Pew Research survey only 55 percent of Americans said that the year ahead would be “better”. That was significantly down from 67 percent who believed that the year ahead would be “better” back last January.

According to that same Pew Research survey, a whopping 89% of Americans rate national economic conditions as “fair” or “poor”, and 79% say that jobs are difficult to get in their local communities.

As noted earlier, that is the main thing that most Americans want. Most Americans want to be able to work hard and provide for their families. But for millions of Americans today that has not been a reality for a very long time.

So will more good jobs be created soon?

Well, a majority of new jobs in the United States are created by small businesses, and right now small business owners do not have a very positive view of the coming year at all.

A recent survey of small business owners found that 25 percent believe that the U.S. economy is getting better but 51 percent believe that it is getting worse.

Hopefully the economy will at least stabilize a bit in 2011, because if it doesn’t, the poll numbers are going to look really ugly next year at this time.

The American People Have Very Mixed Feelings About Barack Obama

In case you haven’t noticed, we live in a country that is very polarized politically. Those on Barack Obama’s “team” love him, while those on “the other team” absolutely hate him.

However, there are signs that even many of those that have been highly supportive of Obama for a long time are starting to have their doubts.

According to the latest Gallup poll, Barack Obama’s approval rating is at 47 percent. This is way, way down from when he first took office. In addition, Gallup recently reported that Barack Obama’s approval rating among liberal Democrats had fallen below 80 percent for the first time since he took office.

When Obama was first elected, even most of those who voted against him wanted his presidency to be a success. But that has been changing. A CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll released this past week found that 61 percent of Americans hope that Barack Obama’s policies succeed. This was down substantially from 71 percent just one year earlier.

In particular, health care has been an issue that has caused dissatisfaction with Obama among the voters. One new poll has discovered that a whopping 61 percent of U.S. voters believe that the new health care law will cause health care costs to increase.

But the truth is that Obama still has a huge base of supporters that love him and will support him no matter what.

Why?

Because voting for “the other guys” is unthinkable for millions upon millions of liberal Americans.

Many Americans Will Worship Their Politicians No Matter How Incompetent They Are

The vast majority of Americans are trapped inside the left/right paradigm. The mainstream media tells them that they have to pick one of two “teams” – either the Republicans or the Democrats.

If you are a Democrat, then the Republicans are the bad guys and you have to hate them no matter what.

If you are a Republican, then the Democrats are the bad guys and you have to hate them no matter what.

But the American people are taught that the leaders of their own “teams” should be treated like rock stars and celebrities.

So millions upon millions of Americans love and worship Obama just like millions upon millions of Americans loved and worshipped Bush.

It doesn’t matter to most Americans that the same very powerful interests control both the Republican and the Democratic establishments. They are going to cheer for their “team” no matter how incompetent the leaders turn out to be.

Today, top politicians are the most admired people in America.

In a recent USA TODAY/Gallup Poll, Barack Obama was the most admired man in America.

George W. Bush was the second most admired man in America.

It doesn’t matter that both of them are incompetent or that both of them are pursuing very, very similar agendas. The Democrats love Obama because he is the leader of their “team” and the Republicans love Bush because he was the leader of their “team”.

The same poll found that Hillary Clinton is the most admired woman in America and that Sarah Palin is the second most admired woman in America.

Are Americans really that brain dead?

More Americans Than Ever Have A Negative View Of The Federal Reserve

Perhaps there is some hope for the American people. More of them than ever before view the Federal Reserve negatively.

A recent Bloomberg National Poll found that a majority of Americans now want the Federal Reserve to either be held more accountable or to be abolished completely. The following is how Bloomberg described the stunning results of this survey….

Asked if the central bank should be more accountable to Congress, left independent or abolished entirely, 39 percent said it should be held more accountable and 16 percent that it should be abolished. Only 37 percent favor the status quo.

So what is so wrong with the Federal Reserve? Well, for an in depth look at what is wrong with the Fed, check out the following articles….

*Debt = Money, Money = Debt

The American People Are Overwhelmingly Against The War In Afghanistan

The American people don’t understand why it has taken us longer to defeat a bunch of goat herders running around the hills of Afghanistan than it did to fight all of World War II.

We have been over there for nearly a decade now and the American people are getting sick of it. A recent CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey discovered that 63 percent of Americans are against the war in Afghanistan.

This is not a liberal/conservative thing. The truth is that each year the “war in Afghanistan” is getting even bloodier and we don’t seem to be accomplishing anything. We can’t be the police of the world and the American people are tired of sacrificing so much for so little in return.

The American People Are Turning Away From God

With each passing year, it seems as though God becomes even less important to the American people.

According to a new Gallup poll, approximately seven out of every 10 Americans think that religion as a whole is losing its influence on American life. Gallup has been asking that question for over five decades and the percentage of Americans that believe that religion is losing influence in society has rarely ever been higher.

Another new Gallup poll has found that only 40 percent of Americans believe in creationism. That is the lowest percentage of Americans that have indicated that they are creationists since Gallup began asking that question back in 1982.

But perhaps we should all reflect on where we would be as a nation without God as we get ready to start a new year. Perhaps we should remember why we were once the greatest and most prosperous nation on the earth.

So what do all of you readers think about all of these issues?

Feel free to leave a comment with what you are thinking and feeling as we prepare to enter 2011….

10 Modern Methods of Mind Control

Friday, December 31st, 2010

Nicholas West
Activist Post
December 31, 2010

The more one researches mind control, the more one will come to the conclusion that there is a coordinated script that has been in place for a very long time with the goal to turn the human race into non-thinking automatons. For as long as man has pursued power over the masses, mind control has been orchestrated by those who study human behavior in order to bend large populations to the will of a small “elite” group. Today, we have entered a perilous phase where mind control has taken on a physical, scientific dimension that threatens to become a permanent state if we do not become aware of the tools at the disposal of the technocratic dictatorship unfolding on a worldwide scale.

Modern mind control is both technological and psychological. Tests show that simply by exposing the methods of mind control, the effects can be reduced or eliminated, at least for mind control advertising and propaganda. More difficult to counter are the physical intrusions, which the military-industrial complex continues to develop and improve upon.

1. Education — This is the most obvious, yet still remains the most insidious. It has always been a would-be dictator’s ultimate fantasy to “educate” naturally impressionable children, thus it has been a central component to Communist and Fascist tyrannies throughout history. No one has been more instrumental in exposing the agenda of modern education than Charlotte Iserbyt — one can begin research into this area by downloading a free PDF of her book, The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America, which lays bare the role of Globalist foundations in shaping a future intended to produce servile drones lorded over by a fully educated, aware elite class.

2. Advertising and Propaganda – Edward Bernays has been cited as the inventor of the consumerist culture that was designed primarily to target people’s self-image (or lack thereof) in order to turn a want into a need. This was initially envisioned for products such as cigarettes, for example. However, Bernays also noted in his 1928 book, Propaganda, that “propaganda is the executive arm of the invisible government.” This can be seen most clearly in the modern police state and the growing citizen snitch culture, wrapped up in the pseudo-patriotic War on Terror. The increasing consolidation of media has enabled the entire corporate structure to merge with government, which now utilizes the concept of propaganda placement. Media; print, movies, television, and cable news can now work seamlessly to integrate an overall message which seems to have the ring of truth because it comes from so many sources, simultaneously. When one becomes attuned to identifying the main “message,” one will see this imprinting everywhere. And this is not even to mention subliminal messaging.

3. Predictive Programming – Many still deny that predictive programming is real. I would invite anyone to examine the range of documentation put together by Alan Watt and come to any other conclusion. Predictive programming has its origins in predominately elitist Hollywood, where the big screen can offer a big vision of where society is headed. Just look back at the books and movies which you thought were far-fetched, or “science fiction” and take a close look around at society today. For a detailed breakdown of specific examples, Vigilant Citizen is a great resource that will probably make you look at “entertainment” in a completely different light.

4. Sports, Politics, Religion – Some might take offense at seeing religion, or even politics, put alongside sports as a method of mind control. The central theme is the same throughout: divide and conquer. The techniques are quite simple: short circuit the natural tendency of people to cooperate for their survival, and teach them to form teams bent on domination and winning. Sports has always had a role as a key distraction that corrals tribal tendencies into a non-important event, which in modern America has reached ridiculous proportions where protests will break out over a sport celebrity leaving their city, but essential human issues such as liberty are giggled away as inconsequential. Political discourse is strictly in a left-right paradigm of easily controlled opposition, while religion is the backdrop of nearly every war throughout history.

5. Food, Water, and Air – Additives, toxins, and other food poisons literally alter brain chemistry to create docility and apathy. Fluoride in drinking water has been proven to lower IQ; Aspartame and MSG are excitotoxins which excite brain cells until they die; and easy access to the fast food that contains these poisons generally has created a population that lacks focus and motivation for any type of active lifestyle. Most of the modern world is perfectly groomed for passive receptiveness — and acceptance — of the dictatorial elite. And if you choose to diligently watch your diet, they are fully prepared to spray the population from the above.

6. Drugs — This can be any addictive substance, but the mission of mind controllers is to be sure you are addicted to something. One major arm of the modern mind control agenda is psychiatry, which aims to define all people by their disorders, as opposed to their human potential. This was foreshadowed in books such as Brave New World. Today, it has been taken to even further extremes as a medical tyranny has taken hold where nearly everyone has some sort of disorder — particularly those who question authority. The use of nerve drugs in the military has led to record numbers of suicides. Worst of all, the modern drug state now has over 25% of U.S. children on mind-numbing medication.

7. Military testing — The military has a long history as the testing ground for mind control. The military mind is perhaps the most malleable, as those who pursue life in the military generally resonate to the structures of hierarchy, control, and the need for unchallenged obedience to a mission. For the increasing number of military personal questioning their indoctrination, a recent story highlighted DARPA’s plans for transcranial mind control helmets that will keep them focused.

8. Electromagnetic spectrum — An electromagnetic soup envelops us all, charged by modern devices of convenience which have been shown to have a direct impact on brain function. In a tacit admission of what is possible, one researcher has been working with a “god helmet” to induce visions by altering the electromagnetic field of the brain. Our modern soup has us passively bathed by potentially mind-altering waves, while a wide range of possibilities such as cell phone towers is now available to the would-be mind controller for more direct intervention.

9. Television, Computer, and “flicker rate”– It’s bad enough that what is “programmed” on your TV (accessed via remote “control”) is engineered; it is all made easier by literally lulling you to sleep, making it a psycho-social weapon. Flicker rate tests show that alpha brain waves are altered, producing a type of hypnosis — which doesn’t portend well for the latest revelation that lights can transmit coded Internet data by “flickering faster than the eye can see.” The computer’s flicker rate is less, but through video games, social networks, and a basic structure which overloads the brain with information, the rapid pace of modern communication induces an ADHD state. A study of video games revealed that extended play can result in lower blood flow to the brain, sapping emotional control. Furthermore, role-playing games of lifelike war and police state scenarios serve to desensitize a connection to reality. One look at the WikiLeaks video Collateral Murder should be familiar to anyone who has seen a game like Call of Duty.

10. Nanobots – From science fiction horror, directly to the modern brain; the nanobots are on the way. Direct brain modification already has been packaged as “neuroengineering.” A Wired article from early 2009 highlighted that direct brain manipulation via fiber optics is a bit messy, but once installed “it could make someone happy with the press of a button.” Nanobots take the process to an automated level, rewiring the brain molecule by molecule. Worse, these mini droids can self-replicate, forcing one to wonder how this genie would ever get back in the bottle once unleashed. Expected date of arrival? Early 2020s.

A concerted effort is underway to manage and predict human behavior so that the social scientists and the dictatorial elite can control the masses and protect themselves from the fallout of a fully awake free humanity. Only by waking up to their attempts to put us to sleep do we stand a chance of preserving our free will.

Second Amendment Champion Aaron Zelman Passes

The second amendment community has lost a champion. Aaron S. Zelman Executive Director of Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership passed away December 21, 2010

He is survived by his wife Nancy, two sons, Erik and Jeremy. Funeral services were held at 11am December 24, 2010 at the Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue, 2909 W. Mequon Rd., Mequon. Memorials can be made to JPFO, P.O. Box 270143, Hartford, WI 53027.

Aaron was often interviewed by Alex Jones on his radio show and was a no nonsense voice for protecting and defending our second amendment. He would often speak in favor of a Bill of Rights Culture for all Americans and of the need for people to get involved.

While JPFO is known for its posters and articles supporting gun rights, it was Aaron’s work in exposing the connection between our 1968 Gun Control Act and the 1938 Nazi gun control laws in “Gun Control: Gateway to Tyranny” that brought JPFO to the attention of most gun owners.

More recently Aaron took JPFO in a new direction; documentary films.

Innocents Betrayed was one of Aaron’s first films. It was an award winning film exposing the true cost of citizen disarmament when governments go bad.

In the newest documentaries from JPFO, “No Guns for Negroes” and “No Guns for Jews” Aaron took a more aggressive approach by directly targeting his audience.

Ralph W. Conner Chairman of the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) and Donna Major, Boston Field Coordinator for the Second Amendment Sisters were the featured spokesmen in “No Guns for Negroe’s”.

“No Guns for Negroes” explains how the right of self-defense is a right of every American and if that right is taken away then the individual is made powerless.

Aaron’s final film “No Guns for Jews” may be Aaron’s master piece and his legacy.

“No Guns for Jews” calls out Jewish politicians and leaders that support gun control and asks the question, why do so many Jews support gun control when it’s in direct violation of Torah law.

At one point in the documentary, Rabbi Dovid Bendory holds up his New Jersey Firearms Identification Card and asks “What’s the purpose of this; the purpose of this is to have my name on a list so that the state police know that I am a gun owner”.

He then explains how these are the types of laws made by man that have created problems in the past.

In the last member correspondence, Aaron announced the Drudge Report had agreed to accept advertising from JPFO to promote our films. He referred to it as the 800 Pound Gorilla. Hopefully this effort will be able to continue.

In the last few years Aaron began offering posters and other material for free including the two latest documentaries, No Guns for Negroe’s and No Guns for Jews.

Aaron will be missed. Rest in Peace my friend.

50% Of Americans One Paycheck Away From Needing Government Assistance

My Budget 360
December 31, 2010

Many Americans live precariously close to the edge of financial insolvency flirting with economic disaster daily. If you casually browse mainstream articles and watch any amount of television you would think that the US still had a vibrant and strong middle class.

When we pull back the covers on the current financial situation we realize that many Americans are merely getting by and many would like to live in some 1984 Orwellian fantasy world where suddenly things are back to financial equilibrium. 43 million Americans are depending on government food assistance to get by.

But many more millions are merely living paycheck to paycheck hidden in the cellar of the headlines. 1 out of 3 Americans has zero in any retirement account (not one slowly eroding dollar). Half of Americans have $2,000 or less which puts them one month away from needing government assistance.

With the volatile job market and turbulent Wall Street middle class Americans are feeling the once prided stability being slowly washed away. Let us examine how retirement is now becoming more of a fantasy for many Americans.

50% Of Americans One Paycheck Away From Needing Government Assistance standard of living

Many Americans especially young adults realize that saving large amounts of money is a key to a sustainable retirement:

50% Of Americans One Paycheck Away From Needing Government Assistance saving money

Over 84 percent of 18 to 29 year olds surveyed feel they need at least $1 million saved up in order to stop working some day. 60 percent of those 30 and older feel that they will also need $1 million saved up. Yet the actual figures are somewhat disturbing in contrast to the perceptions of many:

50% Of Americans One Paycheck Away From Needing Government Assistance us retirement accounts

Source: Census

The median retirement account for US households is $2,000. This is why the vast majority of retirees depend on Social Security as their primary source of funds in old age even though Social Security was never designed to be a long term pension system. You’ll notice that the average retirement account is closer to $50,000 a year but this is heavily skewed by the top 1 percent that keep most of their funds in stock wealth.

The reason retirement is slipping through the fingers of many like sand is the disjointed income equality in the country that has grown in the last decade. If we look at income growth it has been heavily tilted at the top:

50% Of Americans One Paycheck Away From Needing Government Assistance 800px United States Income Distribution 1967 2003.svg

Source: Census, Chart: Wikipedia

There has been virtually no real income growth for most Americans. The real significant wage growth over the last 50 years has occurred at the very top 10 percent of income earners in the country with this inequality accelerating in the last bubble decade. What is more important is that 75 percent of Americans largely depend on a job as a primary source of income which seems rather obvious:

50% Of Americans One Paycheck Away From Needing Government Assistance income sources

Source: Federal Reserve

If you examine the chart closely, it is only the top 10 percent that really benefit from a buoyant and thriving stock market. As we have mentioned earlier 1 out of 3 Americans has zero, nada, or zilch in their retirement account. The movement of the stock market is like watching the score of a football game where the outcome means nothing to the individual. Yet the problem is that Wall Street has taken the one item that was stable like a rock for Americans, housing and turned it into another commodity to be gambled and speculated against.

The share of income flowing to a smaller and smaller group of Americans is draining the life blood out of the middle class:

50% Of Americans One Paycheck Away From Needing Government Assistance Share top 1

“From 1950 to 1989, nearly 40 years of data the top 1 percent earned roughly 7 to 8 percent of all the nationwide income. Today it is inching closer to 20 percent, a figure resembling the massive income inequality seen during the Great Depression.”

Even within the top 1 percent the difference in incomes is striking:

50% Of Americans One Paycheck Away From Needing Government Assistance Top 1

This kind of income inequality is coming at the cost of the middle class. Banks and the financial press would like you to believe that this isn’t the case but just look at how far your dollar is now going. If you are fortunate to have a retirement account it is likely you don’t have the gambling devices of options, hedges, and other items that are largely new casino devices for Wall Street. Most Americans are comfortable with income discrepancies but not at these levels and not when much of the gains are based on bets that hurt the overall economy.

The problem as many are now seeing is the financial sector is largely rent seeking by pilfering the future of many middle class Americans. The banking system extracts wealth by devaluing the US dollar, by charging interest or fees on retail banking, and ultimately suckering many Americans to dump money into a stock market that is operated like a casino. Washington Mutual, a once popular bank used to offer free checking for life. JP Morgan Chase took over Washington Mutual in a government shotgun wedding. Now, Chase is looking to extract $10 to $12 per month merely for having a checking account. Of course they’ll waive this if you have $5,000 saved in a handful of their accounts. Look above again. 1 out of 3 Americans have no savings so how will this be accomplished?

As we mentioned Social Security is largely becoming the retirement account default of many Americans. Yet the growing number of beneficiaries is now putting strain on the system:

50% Of Americans One Paycheck Away From Needing Government Assistance social security beneficiaries

The above chart will only continue to show expansion. Where will all this money come from? We have a smaller workforce with the young that are already having a tough time saving any money in this economy. Many of the good paying jobs of today require a college education and college has largely entered its own student loan bubble. Many of the future middle class are merely trying to service their own massive debt even before they begin their careers. To save that $1 million will become a daunting task moving forward. Also, if the Federal Reserve has its way $1 million 30 or 40 years from now may not be much.

With 17 percent of Americans unemployed or underemployed many are simply looking for that next paycheck let alone planning for a retirement where they can sip margaritas in some picturesque beach location. Wall Street has pilfered the pockets of the middle class through bailouts for their reckless gambling and incredible excess. Many Americans now understand this yet the current political class is merely interested in protecting the established *****cracy by pillaging the American village. Most Americans are becoming exhausted by both political parties and their pandering to Wall Street that provides a revolving door of money, jobs, and connections.

The younger generation is seeing their ability to grow their net worth diminishing:

50% Of Americans One Paycheck Away From Needing Government Assistance 25 to 34 year old drop in median savings

This figure has only dropped even further in the last few years. Retirement was once thought of as a place where one would reach a comfortable existence after many years of hard work. Not an extravagant lifestyle but one in where a home was paid off and enough money came in for food and daily necessities. But now with Wall Street turning housing into a giant commodity and stripping bear the employment base of the country; many are wondering if retirement is even an option especially when the stock market is at the same level as it was one decade ago.

Ultimately what needs to happen is to get money out of politics and to split up commercial and investment banking. The answer is obvious but the *****cracy is relentless in keeping this game going as long as possible. As this continues, retirement will continue to look more and more as a fantasy to millions of Americans.
