A Gallup poll has revealed that a record majority of Americans fundamentally do not trust the mass media and believe it to be politically biased.
When asked how much confidence they have in newspapers, TV and Radio to accurately report events, 57% of Americans surveyed said that they generally have “not very much or none at all”.
The figure marks a one percent rise on 2008′s record high of 56%, while the general trend shows an increase in mistrust in the media of around 13% over the past decade.
Just 43% of Americans said they now have “a great deal or fair amount” of trust in the mainstream media, a record low, and a plummeting drop from a height of 72% in the mid 1970s.
A total of 63% of Americans said that they perceive a political bias in the mainstream media, with 48% believing it to be too liberal and 15% too conservative.
Interestingly, the survey finds that those identifying themselves with Democrats and liberals are happier with their daily feed of corporate political propaganda, with 59% and 54% respectively saying they currently have a great deal or fair amount of trust in the mass media.
The results reflect the rise and rise of the alternative media and Internet news sources, which are rapidly gaining popularity amongst Americans, who are turning away from the dinosaur media in droves.
In another recent Gallup poll, just 25% of people of all ages stated that they had trust in newspapers and television news.
Of course, this is not god news for the Federal government, given that it considers those who disagree with the mass media’s version of events to be potential domestic terrorists. By this logic over half of all Americans are potentially radical extremists.

Feds Radiating Americans At Internal Checkpoints

Federal authorities do not concern themselves about the flood of illegal immigrants and drugs crossing the border every day, they’re more worried about radiating American truck drivers at internal checkpoints with mobile scanners that shoot dangerous x-rays through both vehicles and passengers.
As we reported last month, the federal government has acquired hundreds of backscatter x-ray scanners mounted in vans that they are now using to randomly scan vehicles, passengers and homes in complete violation of the 4th amendment and with wanton disregard for any health consequences.
An example of their expanding use was reported by WSBTV yesterday, after federal agents from several agencies, including Homeland Security, the Department of Transportation, and the TSA, set up an internal checkpoint on Interstate 20 just west of Atlanta and detained truck drivers for half an hour or more at a “state-owned inspection station” while they were scanned with a bomb detection device.
Officials admitted there was no specific threat that justified the checkpoint, and although it was labeled a “counter-terror operation,” the scans were also being conducted in the name of “safety”.

Backscatter x-ray vision devices mounted on trucks are already being deployed inside the United States to scan passing individuals and vehicles in complete violation of the Fourth Amendment. Similar to naked airport body scanners, the devices fire x-rays outwards which are then absorbed by dense objects or the human body. Frequent exposure to low doses of radiation can cause cancer and birth defects, according to a report by the Inter-Agency Committee on Radiation Safety.
American Science & Engineering, a company based in Billerica, Massachusetts, has sold many of the devices to U.S. law enforcement agencies, who are already using them on the streets for “security” purposes.
“Without a warrant, the government doesn’t have a right to peer beneath your clothes without probable cause,” points out Marc Rotenberg, executive director of EPIC. “Even airport scans are typically used only as a secondary security measure. If the scans can only be used in exceptional cases in airports, the idea that they can be used routinely on city streets is a very hard argument to make.”
As we have warned from the very beginning, everything you see being rolled out in the airports is eventually designed to hit the streets as Americans become prisoners in their own communities, constantly harassed, scanned and surveilled by an oppressive state.
Mobile scanners for crowds that would be used at football matches and other public events have already been announced, as have proposals to fit lamp posts with CCTV cameras that would X-ray scan passers-by and “undress them” in order to “trap terror suspects”.
Body and vehicle scanners are just one tool authorities plan to implement on a widespread basis as part of our deepening decline into a hi-tech militarized police state.
Homeland Security is already implementing technology to be enforced at “security events” which purportedly reads “malintent” on behalf of an individual who passes through a checkpoint. The video below explains how “Future Attribute Screening Technology” (FAST) checkpoints will conduct “physiological” and “behavioral” tests in order to weed out suspected terrorists and criminals.
The clip shows individuals who attend “security events” being led into trailers before they are interrogated as to whether they are terrorists while lie detector-style computer programs analyze their physiological responses. The subjects are asked about their whereabouts, and if they are attempting to smuggle bombs or recording devices into the “expo,” proving that the technology is intended to be used at public events and not just airports. Individuals who do not satisfy the first lie detector-style test are then asked “additional questions”.
The implementation of ‘Checkpoint USA’, where citizens are routinely stopped, searched and radiated by federal VIPER teams is further evidence of how America is crumbling into a Soviet-style police state where the presumption of innocent until proven guilty is abolished and the 4th amendment eviscerated.
Privacy organizations and civil rights lawyers need to activate immediately to bring lawsuits against the federal government for unleashing this tyranny upon the American people as part of the bid to create a chilling atmosphere that ends all dissent and makes the people fearful of their government as they are made to prove they are not criminals or terrorists on a day to day basis while a high-tech slave pen is constructed around their entire existence.

Feds Force Trucks Into “Counter-terror” Checkpoint

Homeland Security, the Department of Transportation, and the Transportation Security Administration are forcing trucks into a “counter-terror” checkpoint outside of Atlanta.

“A team of federal agents stopped tractor-trailers on Interstate 20 just west of Atlanta, inspecting each truck as it passed through a weigh station,” WSBTV in Atlanta reports this morning. The operation is part of a “training exercise,” according to authorities, and includes the participation of a Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPER) team, according to the news station.
In 2005, the feds created VIPER to search bus and train stations, ferries, and mass transit facilities across the country to “counter potential criminal terrorist activity in all modes of transportation.” Each VIPER team consists two air marshals, one TSA bomb-sniffing-canine team, one or two transportation security inspectors, one local law enforcement officer, and one other TSA employee. “TSA is going to extend its outreach into other modes of transportation,” said David Adams, spokesman for the Federal Air Marshal Service, told the Washington Post on December 14, 2005.
VIPER teams patrol Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor and Los Angeles rail lines, ferries in Washington state, bus stations in Houston, and mass transit systems in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington and Baltimore.
“The VIPER teams have nothing to do with preventing terrorism, they are there to get people to cower and accept they are under control,” wrote Alex Jones and Paul Joseph Watson on December 23, 2005. Jones and Watson cited David Adams, who admitted that there was no new intelligence indicating that terrorists were interested in targeting transportation modes.
This is not the first time VIPER teams have been used against motorists. In October, 2009, the TSA, Coast Guard, NCIS, FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, Norfolk Police and Virginia Beach Police set-up a checkpoint at both ends of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.
Around the same time, the TSA conducted a Gestapo-like operation at a Greyhound bus terminal near downtown Orlando. Nearly 700 bus passengers were forced to surrender their Fourth Amendment and endure searches by the TSA. “There was no specific threat to the bus station on John Young Parkway south of Colonial Drive,” the Orlando Sentinel reported on October 24, 2009.
In February of this year, ABC News ran a feel-good piece about another TSA operation conducted in Tampa, Florida.
As we noted earlier this year, the government is keen to convert the TSA into a military operation. Robert Harding, Obama’s pick to head the agency, told members of the Senate Commerce Committee in March that he would like to see U.S. airport security to more closely resemble security at Israeli airports. The Israelis are notorious for political persecution of Palestinian activists.
In addition to responding to government-created terrorist groups, the TSA is known for its political interrogation. In 2009, Steve Bierfeldt, director of development for Ron Paul’s Campaign for Liberty, was interrogated and harassed by TSA goons in St. Louis. The MIAC report, leaked to Alex Jones in early 2009, specifically denotes Ron Paul supporters as domestic terrorists. The Department of Homeland Security report leaked shortly after also characterizes members of “right-wing extremist” political groups as potential terrorists.
The TSA told WSBTV that the truck checkpoint set-up in Georgia yesterday is not in response to a specific threat. Instead, it appears they are exploiting recent warnings about a possible false flag terror attack.
On Tuesday, U.S. and European officials said they detected a plot to carry out a major, coordinated series of commando-style terror attacks in Britain, France, Germany and possibly the United States, according to ABC News. “US law enforcement officials say they have been told the terrorists were planning a series of ‘Mumbai-style’ commando raids on what were termed ‘economic or soft’ targets in the countries. Pakistani militants killed 173 people with guns and grenades during the 2008 attacks in Mumbai, India.”
Earlier this year Indian’s home secretary, G. K. Pillai, said that the perpetrators of the Mumbai attacks in which 166 people died were “clients and creations” of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency of the Pakistan army.” The ISI worked closely with the CIA to create the Afghan Mujahideen in the 1980s and the Taliban in the 1990s. Elements of the Afghan Mujahideen would later become al-Qaeda.
In November of 2009, it was revealed that American intelligence had an agent inside Lashkar-e-Taiba, the group allegedly responsible for the deadly attack. David Coleman Headley, aka Daood Gilani, a convicted drug smuggler, worked with Lashkar-e-Taiba and frequently introduced himself as a CIA agent. The Pakistani terror organization was organized by the ISI, presumably at the behest of the CIA and western intelligence.

Glenn Beck, as a national media figure, has never been consistent. While he has been seen on TV supporting big government bailouts, new taxes and unlimited war under the dubious banner of “conservative,” Beck has also made a name as a Libertarian of sorts, and now as a tax-revolting Patriot leader within the Tea Party.
But what Glenn Beck has never done, until now, is come so close to telling the truth. In recent episodes, as on September 22, Beck has highlighted the agenda of “global elites,” while digging up valid information on some very serious advocates of World Government, like Col. Edward Mandell House, the foreign affairs advisor to Woodrow Wilson who helped found the Federal Reserve and the Council on Foreign Relations. In the same episode, Glenn Beck exposed Eugenics as an American experiment that morphed into the Nazi Holocaust and linked Cass Sunstein with his intellectual ancestor, Edward Bernays, who refined the art of propaganda to facilitate covert social engineering and control.
All this is not only new ground for Beck, but for televised news at large. Those in power clearly intend that The People would pay attention to Sarah Palin, Barack Obama, Lindsay Lohan and American Idol, not find out the aims of the Council on Foreign Relations, a publicly-obscure but deeply-influential elitist think tank. Though many of Beck’s infamous Fox News programs have revolved around convoluted diagrams and misinformed flow-charts linking entities like the White House and the SDS with Van Jones, 9/11 and Nazism (and so on…), he has now reached the point of concise and important historical examples demonstrating the elite controlled agenda.
So is Glenn Beck for real?
That question has come up again and again, as the Infowars.com crew continues research Beck, the Tea Parties and the attempt to control what Zbigniew Brzezinski recently termed as the ‘first truly global awakening.’
There is no doubt that Glenn Beck has advanced and popularized many important, relevant and true issues; however, he has also been very deceptive and at times proven to be anything less than the principled patriot he plays on TV. Though we’ve been frequent critics, we’d be remiss not to commend Glenn Beck for moving in the right direction and addressing real issues about the behind-the-scenes shadow government power structure. Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean we’re ready to trust him.
On the one hand, his expose of the global elite stops well short of revealing the influence of the Bilderberg Group (which he has mocked), the Rockefeller Foundation or the trans-national cabal formulated between European royalty, Anglo-American intelligensia and worldwide bureaucracy. Instead, Beck frequent blames “Progressives,” which keeps him conveniently on the attack against primarily Democrats. He often suggests that snarky, manipulative policymakers like Cass Sunstein or mindless psuedo-Communists like Van Jones are at the top of power. In reality, however, these figures, while working against the Constitution and American sovereignty, are at best mid-level minions within the New World Order. These figures are no David Rockefeller, Rothschild family or Henry Kissinger.
Where he treads on conservative ground and within the body politic of the Tea Party movement, he has again played more than one role. When he seeks to rouse the rabble, Glenn Beck puts forward that patriots are supposed to question their government. But when that dissent means 9/11 Truthers or ‘extreme’ Ron Paul-revolutionaries, Glenn Beck says that Patriots who question the government are potential terrorists posing a violent danger (without proof of course).
In times when Glenn Beck appears sincere, he often still discredits the topics he covers through his jokes and antics. His inflammatory and scatter-shot commentary draws fire from the Left and other critics, and make him an easy target easy to dismiss and demean– and the seriousness of the topics he covers is diminished when he loses face.
Alex Jones has suggested the Glenn Beck’s doublespeak has more to do with the larger political reorientation. World Government is admittedly formulating out in the open; the New World Order can’t hide, so they pose as the alternative and as patriot groups interested in limited government. To use Bob Dylan’s terminology, they know which way the wind blows– and their assets are all too ready to wear the coloration of Constitutionalists even when they are diametrically opposed to United States sovereignty.
Glenn Beck himself– and admitted actor, phony and poser– is likely a construct of one of three alternatives (though his role may well be unwitting participation rather than intentional conspiring:
1) Glenn Beck is a Cold-Blooded Operative who is Parading in the Coloration of a Constitutionalist and Patriot, While Waiting for Key Moments to Betray and Backtrack. Beck has already turned on The People to support the bailout, propose a VAT tax, to decry 9/11 truthers as violent extremists and to deny all inquiries into that and other big ‘conspiracy theory’ events. He pretended to investigate FEMA camps, before rolling out Popular Mechanics to ‘debunk’ cherry-picked information. Beck has sucker-punched the likes of rising Tea Party candidates like Debra Medina in favor of endorsing establishment candidates like Texas Gov. Rick Perry. Further, he pushed away the strongest Constitutional candidates like Congressman Ron Paul. And that’s just the short list. Nothing is worse than a Benedict Arnold.
2) The New World Order May Have Allowed Glenn Beck to Rise as a False Tea Party / Patriot Leader, only to destroy him later (and make way for a leader from the opposite camp). The offshore globalists have scientifically-developed their understanding of human behavior, and long ago predicted patterns and likely responses. Through the Hegelian Dialectic, the globalists play both sides– as populist anger continues to boil up as the economy continues to implode. When they know they can’t stop the Ron Paul Revolution or tea party-spirit altogether, the system attempts to co-opt the philosophy and aims of these groups. The New World Order subverts the movement with sellout candidates, vetted by FOX News and the establishment-funded Tea Party Express, who are guaranteed to portray a patriot image but deliver no substance whatsoever while in power.
3) The New World Order System May Be Fractured From Within. Glenn Beck may represent one wing of rival factions within the globalist control grid. The Hegelian Dialectic pits two (or more) opposing sides (A + B) against one another for the specific purpose of creating new reactions (C) through synthesis. Also, conflicting interests– who are united in the bigger picture on global integration and cooperative rule– may seek to give resistance to the integration of a more socialistic system within the United States, represented in the extreme by Stalin and Mao-style Communism, and in the present by President Obama and his allies.
Whatever Glenn Beck may be, we only hope that he will go further– all the way. As Alex Jones states in this video address, Beck should call out the likes of Queen Beatrix, Prince Philip, Ted Turner and Bill & Melinda Gates– all who operate at the heart of groups like Bilderberg, entities like the United Nations and agendas like the worldwide population control program.
Whether or not he goes this far, Beck can be assured that we will be watching his moves carefully. His voice has become an important one, at any rate, and the hope that he might inject real issues and educate people about the very real dangers posed by world government is significant.
