OK - looks like Doug took up my challenge and now has a call in/comment phone # - I wonder if he will let me come on and make my comments or will I be screened out or blocked?

No dude... He has ALWAYS had a call in line! You just spout negative garbage out without any common sense, or facts, is the reason you did not know that. Call him! I dare you! He WILL take your call! PS: No one really cares about your negative bull, but it would be funny to listen to Dr. Doug if you call in. It takes a real man or woman to rise above, and think with power, and hope, rather than to be a pessimistic, and angry, individual.

No calling in today - DUDE!

Tell you what - lets see if Dougie is willing to do this - how about he invite any and all those who have actually achieved financial success using his information to call in and give SPECIFIC DETAILS about how they ACTUALLY did it.   If there are so many, he should be able to do this for a whole week - he could probably only get a handful - if any at all!

Oh, and how come you're so adamant in defending Doug and praising everything he says?

Title:  "The Seven Hyper Success Secrets..."   "Moving the needle of your life forward."

More vague, "feel good", platitudes/ general principles (disguised as silly sayings) - no practical, ACTUAL, ways/methods to make $$.

Hey Doug, there are people out there that are REALLY hurting for a better life - how about REALLY helping them or are you just interested in "doing a show" and getting them to buy something from you???

Hey - how do you email Doug? - I tried but couldn't find how to.

sonofagun, maybe check Doug's site for a new product he introduced last month: A small, handheld device that helps the user turn the channel to a different show.  O0

What - another thing he's selling to make $$ for HIM???

 :))   :))

OK, why doesn't he come up with a product to distribute to others wholesale so they can sell it at a profit so they can make some $$ themselves?   Or at least tell where they can go to get such items to resell or other practical tips to save/make money?

All this guy does is endlessly drone about about how you should THINK (or change your thinking) to get rich which really only amounts to an emotional pitch - never any practical, actual ways to make $$ EXCEPT make $$ for him by hiring him for a lecture or buy some program or book from him!

He's just another of these "positive thinking" gurus (like Tony Robinson, Zig whats his name, etc.) who push the same "feel good, think positive" malarkey while pushing to get you to buy something (many costing hundreds!) from them.   Hey if their stuff is so good, easy to do, and works so well, how come everybody isn't a big success and this county's economy isn't booming instead of being on the decline?

"how come everybody isn't a big success and this county's economy isn't booming instead of being on the decline?"

Because our productivity is stolen by taxation, regulation, inflation... an issue entirely separate from whether or not Zig Ziglar's material actually helps people.

Again, I still would like for him to invite any who have actually made $$ because of his advice call in and explain how they did it.   How about you BNW?   How have you made a fortune using his blather?

Another thing I'll say about his show, is that the ideas and principles he expounds upon are so really pretty obvious that anyone with 1/2 a brain should already know them.   He's not really telling you anything that you shouldn't already know (or can figure out on your own) if you already have the basic knowledge, drive, and attitude to be successful.   Those that have a need for someone like DF to coach or prod them along to success probably are likely going to have a tough time achieving it!   You're either born with a desire and ability to be successful or you have the basic intelligence so that necessity or circumstances force you to work for it.  That's life in general - it's not a level playing field.

More feel good, pep talk B.S. Friday & Today!   No real info on making $$.

Here's an analogy:  "The Master Chef Road Show" - topics and endless talk about how to equip and setup a kitchen, latest gadgets for doing so, how to follow recipes, measure ingredients, pitfalls to avoid, secrets of great chefs, but NEVER EVER gives a recipe for making anything!

And last week he stooped to calling people names (Christianity?) rather than addressing or answering their concerns and critiques (including mine).

Another silly show today - now he's talking about health secrets of the "hyper-successful" (he uses that term a lot, kinda like a buzzword  :))) - Just another example of him talking about ANYTHING but REAL information about how to make money.    That Lady V (or D - is never clear which it is or her contact info) is just as vague with a lot of OBVIOUS info about online success with no really helpful information - just more "feel good" blather.

Ever since Man has been writing on cave walls (if you believe that) we have been trying to draw the attention of others. The word "NEW" became italicized and bold. Soon a starburst was incorporated, eventually the advertising gods smiled on us and gave us neon.

SOG, it is no longer adequate to tout "success". That word has been overused and no longer grabs our attention. "Hyper-success" shall soon be supplanted with "monster-success", flashing lights and dancing girls. And free drumsticks.

And the point is?

The point is to make you aware of the need for free drumsticks. It makes the hyper-success much more hyperer.

That's what I'm sayin'! You criticize the term "hyper-success", I point out it's simply a natural progression in marketing. Beans!

I was not "criticizing" the term hyper-success (actually you can't criticize a term - only the use of it) - I was merely pointing out his overuse of it.  Like any salesman, he uses buzz words and hyper terms to get the listener (mark?) all excited so they fall for whatever he's selling.  It's a psychological tool one of many he uses.    Watch the videos I posted on how most all MLM marketing is a scam.   It only makes $$ for those at the top.   While he may not exactly be a MLM marketer, he uses many of the same methods.

So how exactly have you gotten rich following his advice?   Or have you?   Otherwise, why are you defending him?

I'm still waiting for him to give any REAL information on making $$ - maybe he just wants you to be "hyper-successful"... at sending it to him!

Oh now today it's "hyper-performance" and a "special edition" - more buzz words to pretend like he's telling us something new or something that isn't already obvious.  Just more baffling everyone with b.s.

The more "social" we get, the more difficult it is to communicate. Maybe if we got "hyper-social"!

I suggest you find something other to do than adding pointless posts to this thread.   Maybe get some help with your meds or drugs?

Even after I spell it out you missed my point, and you therefore assume it's "pointless".

You haven't spelled out squat!  All you've done is post some vague, obtuse comments and terminology ("drumsticks" for example) with little relevance to what I've been posting here as I'm sure most others here would agree.  You'll probably just follow this with another stupid irrelevant post.

I wonder what life experiences you've had that have made you so hostile. If you're ever in Idaho maybe we can have a pizza sometime.

Dealing with mindless comments rather than truly engaging discussions like with you is part of it!    I'm just being passionate in expressing my criticism of this show which I believe is misleading and giving people false hope and empty advice - or as you say "beans"!

S0 how has this show improved your $$ lot in life - if it has at all?

LMAO  O0
Ok, while it seems that humor is lost on the OP, I do agree with him in general about "get rich" gurus and most MLM schemes out there.

I got into MLM once upon a time to sell a really great product line that got me and others real-world benefits. (Yes - a nutrition product line. no- not Youngevity.)
depending on how the plan is structured, I think selling a real product with real benefits through MLM is a valid business opportunity and some can become really successful at it -- just like any other form of business.
I didn't catch on, mainly because I didn't take it seriously as a business, I just mainly wanted the discount on the products. To this day, I regret not jumping in the business while the company was hot and the market was relatively new.
But anyway, I noticed there was a metastrata (new word?) of super-MLMers who only existed to sell "sales tools" and "motivation" to other MLMers. And while genuine tools (such as emailing programs, innovative scripts, videos that introduce the MLM concept, etc) are needed, an awful lot of that seemed to be superfluous. Every MLM co provides its own training and tools in-house. The super-MLMers who looked to sell "tools" and "training" and "motivation" to any and all MLMers from any and all companies, promising to get them to the "next level."
There is only so much money to be made selling "tools" to other people who are already buying "tools" from their companies and whi are trying to sell "business opportunities" and who are struggling to sometmes maybe sell a product, usually to their friends and family. There is way too much hype, way too much fluff, way too many empty promises, and way too much selling.

Legitimate MLM doesn't sell hopes, hype, fluff, and dreams. It doesn't seek to "get rich by sharing the secret of how to get rich." It takes a product or service that people would actually want, and structures a way for people to get paid finding a market for that product. I would say, too, that a legitimate "business success guru" must at some point, actually help people establish an actual business, and should have something on his resume other than having been a "business success guru."

And, how much "motivation" do people actually need? One of my passions is implementing an actual just and free economy, where people have the resources and can do and build what they want. In such a situation, people would discover their own motivation, would have room to achieve their own preferred level of success, and would not have to desperately buy motivation or promises of success from an Internet guru.

"FIVE WAYS TO CREATE WEALTH THAT ACTUALLY WORK!"
Wow!  Sounds like he's going to give some ACTUAL methods!!
1.  Start your own/build a successful business and then sell it
2.  Invest in or start a Startup
3.  Employ your skills as a self-employed expert
4.  Invest in/develop real estate
5.  Join/start an investment club.

Just more generalities including this quote:
"Work hard for a few years and then let it happen!"  - Uhhh, say what?

He kept asking his guest if she agreed with what he said.   Do you think she was going to say no?   :))  Or maybe it was he only asked her questions he knew she wouldn't say no to!   She was obviously just a "yes man" he had on.

Once again, he never mentions a call-in number.

This guy is just a "motivational speaker".   Apparently has no clue on how to make $$ - well, other than being a "motivational speaker" and getting gullible people to buy tapes, books, etc. from him!   If he does, he sure never tells you about any!

If you need someone else to motivate you, then you've got one strike against you right from the start.   You have to motivate yourself.   And that really isn't that hard.   Circumstances (such as needing an income just to survive) are a great motivator.   Seek out helpful information on REAL ways to build a business or earn income - lots of YouTube videos and books are available on this.

Remember this - this is the greatest time in history to be successful - more tools available to help than ever before.   Just make it happen!

There - I've probably said more (or at least as much!) than Dougie has.
