electrolytes
« on: November 04, 2014, 12:16:44 PM »
I learned some things about electrolytes this weekend (I had a four day weekend.) Any more information anyone could supply would be appreciated until I feel very comfortable discussing them with anyone I would need to teach.

Listening to old Ben podcasts, I learned that the body is an electrical system that depends on fluid dynamics. It depends on fluids being able to move at the correct rate and correct pace. These are tightly regulated. Fluids are regulated by the body dispersing electronic elements (Ben says "We call them electrolytes or minerals or proteins which are big pieces of material, by throwing big pieces of material and electrolytes into the liquid").
